Let’s Begin

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered:

"Man! Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

So, if you’re going to start, you might as well begin with a bang, right!

who are we, what can you expect and what exactly is high health?

Currently High Health Club is me, Trish.  I am a seeker and lover of all thing’s ‘health + wellness’, and am obsessed, in the best possible way, with all of the healthy things.  My approach to health and wellness comes from a place of balance and a strong belief that we are here to indulge and celebrate the simple pleasures in life and that in doing so, we honour what this life is all about. 

For as long as I remember, I’ve had a burning desire to live life wide open and really touch the sides of life, rather than to simply exist somewhere in between, often feeling that there was more to life than what was presented and, in a sense and have spent my life chasing this desire, like so many I know.  

Over the years, I have tried many modalities to get me closer to this aim, some legal, some not, some getting me closer to the desired outcome whilst others leaving me wanting.

what exactly is high health?


“Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all.” – Helen Keller


I remember when I first read Helen Keller’s quote, I was a little outraged as I generally found life’s adventures fleeting and wondered what this made of all the rest?   

In a sense, High Health Club is an offering of living life more in line with the adventure, endeavoring to live life on high.

Whilst life is short and for living well, hopefully it’s also long and you get to enjoy all of it in good health, not just the stuff up front.  My hope is that High Health Club will be a place of inspiration to support you in making good choices along the way and playing the long game.


our ethos is simple, how do we support ourselves in this busy modern world, not just to live but to thrive?


Something, I noticed in diving into my own health journey over the years is a feeling that comes, fleetingly at times, where for no given reason, life feels amplified / ‘on high’, a sense of a bursting heart, a day well spent, a conversation that brings all the joy, a sense of utter bliss in the moment.

And herein lies, the intent of High Health Club, to support you in bringing this ‘high’ to life. When one of my coaching clients recently articulated this feeling, I realised I was on the right track, so let’s begin.

adjective. great, or greater than normal, in quantity, size, or intensity.

noun. a high point, level, or figure. | a notably happy or successful moment.

what can you expect?

Our mission is simple - to provide you with the tools to support your health and wellbeing through information, coaching and providing a space where we strive to support all of you and encourage you to be open in doing the same. 

We will discuss the ‘tools’ in more detail in upcoming editions of ‘Tools for Modern Living’.
